Training and Life Offshore (DVD)This is a short DVD about life on board an ERRV and the training the crew undertake on a daily basis. |

Beyond the Call (DVD)This DVD was produced to familiarise crews on a daily basis of the medical aid that they may have to administer in the event of an emergency offshore. (New resuscitation protocols were introduced by the Resuscitation Council in 2005 which are not reflected in the DVD. Individuals attending first aid refresher courses will be instructed in the new guidelines. In addition they will be incorporated into ERRVA training materials in due course. First aiders should be reassured that the old protocols are neither dangerous or ineffective and until they have received updated training and feel competent in its application they may continue to work under the old protocols.) |

The below listed Guidelines govern the operations and management of Emergency Response and Rescue Vessels operating within the UK Continental Shelf and were produced jointly by Oil & Gas UK / ERRVA.
- The Emergency Response and Rescue Vessel Management Guidelines Issue 3 Sept 2004
- The Emergency Response and Rescue Vessel Survey Guidelines Issue 4 Sept 2004.
The Guidelines are intended to provide masters and crews of emergency response and rescue vessels, OIM's and other relevant offshore personnel with general guidance on the conduct of their activities as part of the effective arrangements for the recovery and rescue of personnel. (The Guidelines do not cover the Merchant Shipping statutory requirements and are not specific to any particular field or installation.)
